December juices

December isn’t just cold and dark, it’s also the number one month where we stuff our faces with sugar and other unhealthy foods, just in the name of the holidays. So in order to get just a little bit of vitamins in too, I created some juice recipes that are fabulous and filled with vitamins, a pinch of christmas flavor and power enough to protect you a little throughout the holiday season!

If you don’t have a juicer for this project I, successfully, for years used a blender instead. Just put all the ingredients in and a cup of water and blend for a couple of minutes. Run it through a sieve and bottle up.

Cinnamon-heartHave a glass of blood.juice

 

2 oranges
2 apples
3 carrots
1 red beet
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
A pinch of olive oil

Rinse and cut the fruits and veggies and give it a spin!
This picture really doesn’t offer any justice to how colorful this juice actually is. It is beautiful in real life!!!
