Homemade bounty

This is probably my favorite homemade candy ever.

All you need is:

200 ml coconut milk (or actually the creme)
200 g dark chocolate
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
200 g of shredded coconut (I used a mix between fine and roughly shredded)
1/2 teaspoon of honey

Here’s what you’ve got to do:

1. Scoop out the thick part of the coconut milk and put it into a bowl, alongside honey and oil. Now add your shredded coconut until you have a firm dough. The listed 200 g is a guess, because you need to keep adding coconut until the dough is something you can form.

2. Keep your dough in the fridge for about 30 min.  After 20 min you can start melting the dark chocolate.

3. Using whatever tools work the best for you (I used a dough-scraper) firm little squares from the coconut-dough and align them on a piece of tinfoil. One after one roll them in the hot chocolate until they are completely covered, add whatever topping you’d like and put them back in the fridge. They should cool for at least an hour before serving.
