Truffles (dairy- and glutenfree)

This coconut-chocolate recipe will end as delicious truffles that tastes like they were made on pure butter, but in fact it’s a lighter and more calorie-kind version. Absolutely yummy!

All you need:

100 g of dark chocolate (around 50-60 %)
3 tbl spoons of coconut oil
½ a can of coconut milk
2 tbl spoons of cocoa powder
1 handful of shredded nuts (hazelnuts are brilliant for this)
1 handful of shredded coconut
– any other thing you find delicious for topping the truffles

What you gotta do:

First of, chop the chocolate and mix it a little with the coconut oil.

Secondly warm the coconut milk in a pot and stir in the chocolate and oil slowly. Once everything is blended, keep it cool for about 4 hours.

Thirdly, chop the nuts into finer pieces. Place it on a little plate and likewise with the cocoa powder and shredded coconut.

In the fourth step you have to shape the truffles. Usually this can be done with just a teaspoon. Don’t keep them in your hands for to long, as that will make it melt and thus impossible to shape. Roll the truffles in the cocoa powder, nuts or coconut. Let it all cool for 10 minutes before serving.
